All over the World the development of the semiconductor Eco system has been initiated by the development of the verticals near to the Product which create the demand required for the development of the upstream verticals.
GSEC, with support from Samaya Noa Private Limited (SN), is working on to develop a complete Integrated Semiconductor & Electronics Manufacturing Ecosystem in India. The Ecosystem will house a number of companies for engineering, software, designing, packaging, components and EMS (Electronic manufacturing services).
GSEC is working on tie ups, acquisitions for development the entire Semiconductor Eco System and integrating it to our Proposed PAN India Distribution/Servicing Network so that the demand of one vertical creates demand for the other upstream verticals. Overall GSEC will do following:
- GSEC would also be setting up a semiconductor foundry with packaging unit of about 40,000 wafers per month and which would include designing, packaging , assembly , test & EMS .
- GSEC is getting into the niche technology products based systems including Infotainment Systems, Telematics Systems , Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and LIDAR / RADAR/SONAR & CAMERA VISION based Systems, etc used in the Automobile , defense , space, railways & aviation sectors with envisaged annual product revenue of about USD 80 bn by 2020 with a target of about 10 to 15% of the Global Market Share , creating Indian Monopoly in the said niche technologies.
- The Proposed Innovation Industrial Smart City with Innovative University & Schools is proposed to come up in 150 sq KMs of the Size, with initial land required of about 100 sq KMs.
- Innovation ,Technology & Management Centre “Chanakya” will be established in the Capital, which will be the EPI center for Strategic Thinking & Leadership for the INDIA Sub-Continent spread over an area of over 800 acres near Delhi & for “Vishwa Kuttum Gurukul “ near Delhi of over 200 acres.
- GSEC is also in negotiation with ARM, AMD, Imagination , NVIDIA for the licensing of the X86 Processor & Other Components for Laptops & Tablets, GSEC is also interested in designing chips through licensing or otherwise for the Image/ graphic processors/cards & embedded softwares for Mobile , Smart Card & other applications to cater to the Indian Market with make in India Products at affordable prices.
- GSEC has the Proposed PAN India Distribution/Servicing Network extending till the district, block & village level which will be very useful in making available Electronic Products with Govt Support (including USOF) to Urban , Semi Rural & Rural Consumers.
The objective of the educating & training our children & youth is to enable them to contribute to the Growth & development of the Country. The GSEC Eco System will develop Innovative Technology University integrating the schools of the region with the Semiconductor / Electronic Industry and will be epicenter of Innovations, Research & development, process & product development GSEC Eco System will license technologies & help in development, setting up & running of related Industries & Services in the Innovative City Technology Park.
On a Greenfield basis, our plan is to set up the wafer fab in two 300 mm modules – each capable of producing 20,000 to 40,000 wafers per month;
- The first module will focus on technologies from 130 / 90nm down to 40nm, optionally including embedded flash memory technology
- The second one will focus on technologies from 28nm and 14nm
- Project Scope includes a Packaging facility, as well as 3D technologies
GSEC has initiated work on establishment of an R&D Department in the fields of Semiconductors & Energy.
